Lennox Heritage Society

The Lennox Heritage Society meets at 7:30pm in the old Municipal Building, Dumbarton (near Dumbarton Central Station) through the winter lecture series.

We welcome new members and visitors to our monthly talks and events. We have had some really fascinating ones so far this past season. While our main activities are evening lectures, we also plant to have some outings through the summer. These include tracking the western edge of the Antonine Wall and looking for WW2 decoy bunkers in the hills above Dumbarton. We are also interested in anecdotal evidence of historic events such as that of WW2 and projects by others to do with the evolvement of our area.
